A Wisteria Tree, located outside of Okuyia Village.
Wisteria Trees are a different species of tree found around the map in Demonfall. Wisteria Trees can be distinguished from regular trees by their black bark and glowing pink leaves. Wisteria Trees are environmental barriers for Demons and Hybrids, dealing rapid damage until their death when nearby. They can be found scattered throughout Okuyia Plains, Sakura Passage, Corps Grove, the Final Selection area, both in the overworld and in the Slayer Test, and completely surrounding the Slayer Corps Base. Demons are suggested to avoid these trees whenever possible, as they can quickly die if they get too close to one. The same applies to Demon NPCs. If they are lured to a Wisteria Tree, they will continuously and quickly take damage until they die. The Wisteria Trees work like the sun to the Demons, both dealing rapid damage to the Demon. Wisteria trees only affect demons, and have no other use.
