"The sufferings of my past were lessons on what to do to others as revenge! If I don't cause misery equal to my own unhappiness, I'll never balance the scales! That's how it is when you're a demon! And we kill anyone who tries to tell us otherwise."
~Former Upper Moon 6, Gyutaro
Sickle Art is one of the Demon Arts you can obtain when you reach level 5 by talking to the Rocher. You can also use Muzan's Blood to reroll your Demon Art to obtain it.

30 | Yes. | No. | 54 (3x18) | |
Arc Rampage | The user creates quick sickle barrage infront of him. This is a great combo extender, because of it not knocking the opponent away, having no windup, and being uncancellable. | 45 | No. | Yes. | 35
Blood Dismiss | User performs Arc Rampage but gains I-Frames for around 2 seconds. This is the first combo escaping attack that deals damage to an opponent. This move now can NOT be used as extender, due to 2.95 patch. | 15 | No. | Yes. | 15
Blood Stack | User makes an instant sickle slash that knocks back their opponents. This is AOE attack, meaning it's great for fighting larger groups of enemies, mostly because it has little-to-no windup. This move is the best to be used as Combo Finisher. | 55 | No. | No. | 25
Circular Slashes | User creates cone of slashes with his Blood Sickles, dealing damage to anyone caught inside, then knocks enemies far away. This move is best to be used as Combo Finisher. | 70 | No. | No. | ~70 |

Tips[]
- Only use Blood Dismiss to escape combos
- If your opponent is being agressive in pvp and continuously rushing, get them off you by using Blood Stack or punish them by using Arc Rampage the next time they rush you (You can start a combo if you use Arc Rampage.)
- Blood Sickles and Circular Slashes go through walls, so in pvp you can hide behind a wall, and when your opponent approaches, hit them with the move.
- Soryuu is recommended for this Blood Demon Art as it gives you the much needed speed to start combos. Bellbreaker's stun is also extremely useful in starting combos if your opponent is playing aggressive.
- This Blood Demon Art can be used both defensively and aggressively. Aggressively attack an opponent to give them little time to counter and keep rushing them until you land a combo, or wait for the enemy to come to you and quickly hit them with Arc Rampage when they rush you. You can also hit them with Circular Slashes or Blood Sickles once they start to get close
- If you escape a combo with Blood Dismiss, attempt to quickly hit the enemy with Blood Sickles or Blood Stack if they do not immediately start dashing around or if they seem momentarily discombobulated (Note: Blood Dismiss will not stun the enemy)
- If you use a move that ragdolls your opponent (Such as Blood Stack), you can follow up with another move (Such as Blood Sickles, Circular Slashes, or Arc Rampage) if your opponent hits a wall that stops them from flinging far away. (Note: Circular Slashes has a too short knockdown time to be used in this way.)
- A strategy to hitting an opponent with Circular Slashes or Blood Sickles is jumping up in the air before using it. Your opponent may not notice the startup animation while you're in the air and you can immediately hit them with the move once you've fallen back down. This will not work if your opponent moves out of range or if you started the move too early or too late.
- This Blood Demon Art is especially deadly in close courters.
- Circular Slashes hits downed opponents. Use it on enemies that have been ragdolled
Additional Notes[]
- There is a window where and opponent can dash away after being hit with ‘Blood Sickles’. If you're not careful about this, it could ruin your combo. A way to avoid this / make it worthwhile though is use ‘Blood Sickles’ as the last extender in your combo (After ‘Arc Rampage’), therefore if the opponent does dash away afterwards, you still would’ve taken much of their health.
- Long cool downs isn't listed in cons, since most of the moves don't really have a very long CD, however, Blood Dismiss does have a rather long CD compared to the others
- For some reason, Sickle Art can hit downed/rag dolled enemies, which is a bug that shall be fixed at the soon-to-be-released Update 2.95.
- Due to Update 2.95, Blood Sickles and Blood Dismiss moves can no longer extend combos, which is a big nerf.
- Blood Sickles is one of the strongest Blood Demon Arts because of it's great combo starter/extender Arc Rampage, its extremely high damage output, and its evasive Blood Dismiss.
Trivia[]
- Gyutaro is the user and master of the Blood Sickles Blood Demon Art in the anime and manga of demon slayer.
