Shockwave Art is one of the Demon Arts you can obtain when you reach level 5 by talking to Rocher. You can also use Muzan's Blood to reroll your Demon Art. It's used by some of the Demon NPCs (The Demon NPCS currently only use 2 moves from this Demon Art, Explosive Flurry and Air Type).

Pros
- Works well with Soryuu.
- Does fairly good damage.
- Ridiculously powerful if the player has Kanroji.
- Has good range.
- Has a buff move with Hyper Armor.
- Strongest move takes little stamina and has low cooldown.
- Shocking Jack is a great combo starter.
- Shocking Jack and Annihilation Type has the same startup animation so it confuses your enemy to whether block or not since annihilation type is a guard breaker and Shocking Jack isn't. They will either get comboed or free damage
Cons
- Only one guard break.
- Only one Hyper Armor move.
- Won't work very well with Greatsword.
- Flying Planet Thousand Wheels may induce fall damage.
- Shocking Jack costs a lot of stamina, and at the same time, it's also low damage.
Trivia
- Many people in the official Discord Server demanded/suggested a nerf to this Demon Art as most, if not all, of the players had difficulties on defeating a single Demon NPC or a Demon player who possesses said BDA. (they were either possibly irritated about Explosive Flurry or its OP strength.)
- Compass Needle can detect one's fighting spirit in the original source, allowing Akaza to locate and track a person.
- Explosive Flurry and Flying Planet Thousand Wheels goes under the "Leg Type" category, another type of combat in Shockwave Art.
- There is another Leg Type technique in Destructive Death called, "Crown Splitter".
- Another techniques developed by Akaza called, "Disorder" and "Eight-Layered Demon Core", share some similarities to Air Type, but it is unknown if both go under the same category.
- Shockwave Art is also known as "Destructive Death" in the source material.
- The Demon Art's ability in the source material is reliant on the user having known Soryu style, and thus enhancing its capabilities. This is not true in the game.
