Okuro, Former Lower Moon 6

Okuro is a storyline boss in Demonfall. Okuro is a large, tall demon who used to hold the rank of Lower Moon 6. Okuro is encountered in the storyline after you finish Final Selection and talk to Hayaka, where she sends you on a quest to reinforce some slayers in a cavern. Upon entering the cavern, you find many slayers dead. Okuro then appears, stating that he killed them all, before engaging with you in combat. Okuro has 1000 hp

After you have defeated Okuro, he is about to tell you the hideout of Muzan Kibutsuji: "Muzan Kibutsuji is at..." He didn't finish his speech and he would explode into a burst of flame similar when he charges flame to transform into his 2nd form.

Okuro

Okuro has two forms. His first form is used until he reaches about 30% HP. He will kneel down and charge up his flames, before releasing them in an AOE and transforming into his second form. Okuro in his second form will appear as though he is covered in flames. The transformation can damage.

First Form

Okuro has three attacks in his first form. The first attack he will use is at the start of the battle, or whenever you are far enough away from him. He will spew flames in a cone-shape in front of him. This move guard breaks and knocks you back, but if you are too close, it's possible it doesn't knock you back enough so that when you get back up you'll get hit by the attack a second time. The second attack he will use is a kick. This kick is always at his right leg and can be easily avoided by staying at his left leg and dashing to the right whenever he charges up his kick. His kick will knock you back, but it won't knock you back enough for him to use his flame attack so long as you dash back towards him immediately after getting up. His third attack, a simple punch with either arm, is only used if you are on any of the rock formations, or you try to climb him.

Second Form

When Okuro reaches a certain amount of health, streams of fire will be absorbed into his body, mostly the glowing red sphere on his chest. Then he'll release an explosion that can damage you if you stray too close. From then on, his body will have a red flaming aura.

Okuro has three attacks in his second form. The first attack is the same flame breath as in the first form. The second attack is the same kick as in his first form. The third attack is the only new attack he gets. He stomps his right leg, releasing a line of flames that come up from the ground in front of him. His second form appears to be glitched, as after using all his attacks (you must bait the flame breathing at least once for this to occur), he stops moving allowing you to kill him with ease (A strategy to kill him is to get up on the ledge on the right u can just spam m1)

Techniques and tactics to defeat

1. Punches have unusual hitboxes, so his hands may simply pass by without damaging. You can hit his hands becuase of odd hitboxes.
2. Bring a shotgun, this can do about 2% of his health at longer range with only a few pellets landing.
3. Insect breathing's poison does a massive amount of DoT
4. I-Frames are the best thing for the Flame attack
5. You can just light spam his left foot (Our right) and avoid being in contact of the right foot (Our left) since it's the foot that kicks.

Trivia

• Try to avoid his right leg and flames as they do quite a lot of damage. The best way is to be at his left leg as flames cannot hit close range and he uses right leg to kick, he also cannot use the punch attack. You can spam moves, M1 and M2 but M1 is more recommended.
• Players that already defeated Okuro can help other players that didn't kill it yet. However, if the player died, the helper will also teleport back to the main world (server). The helper(s) also cannot enter the Okuro hideout until the host player has started the battle with Okuro via completing their conversation and Okuro getting up from his throne.
• You can solo Okuro without any help just bring enough food. Dash mastery is very useful to avoid his attacks quickly.
• After you have defeated Okuro, you will be teleported back to the Hayakawa Village and when you talk to Hayaka (Woman at the soup shack) she will tell you to talk to Ubuyashiki Kagaya at the Slayer Corps HQ.
• Okuro is the largest demon in Demonfall as of patch 2.8.6
• It is possible to attack Okuro when he is awakening his second or his last form. But it is not worth it because you will get hit by the flame explosion directly and suffer tons of damage.
• If you didn't defeat it yet and do the quest with the player who also didn't defeated it, the person who deals the most damage will receive the EXP
• When he is killed he will release a mini explosion which knocks you down (and lags if you are too close to him and looking at him), but you won't be damaged by it.
• You can cheese him by standing at the corner of a rock since his punches have a strange hitbox.
• Okuro and Kyogai share the same eye color.
