Who is Gyutaro?[]
Gyutaro was the former Upper Moon 6 before Kaigaku replaced him. Gyutaro is a Demon Boss that uses the Sickle Art Blood Demon Art.
Gyutaro's damage is significantly higher than a player's and his execution speed is almost instantaneous.
Character Info[]
Gyutaro was born into poverty within the lowest class of the Entertainment District. His mother would often beat and try to kill him even before he was born due to presumed attempted miscarriage since she could not afford to feed him, but her efforts were proven to be in vain when she died of syphilis.
Throughout his childhood, he was berated for his appearance, voice, and poor hygiene from the other residents of the district. When his sister, Ume, was born, he gained a sense of pride and worked as a debt collector in the Rashomon Riverbank of Yoshiwara, Tokyo.
After Ume turned thirteen years old, he returned home from collecting debts one day, only to discover his sister tied up and burned to near death and left to die in a ditch because she blinded a samurai, gouging his eye out with a hairpin. He jumped into the ditch and began to panic, tearfully demanded that his sister be turned back to normal while cradling her body. As he embraces his dying sister, the same samurai whom she blinded appeared, snuck up behind Gyutaro and slashed his back in an attempt to kill him. He then overheard the samurai speaking to the brothel manager, who is revealed to be the one who asked to have Gyutaro killed. However, before the samurai is able to finish him off, he jumps out of the ditch, killing the manager with a swift cut to the neck. Gyutaro mocks the samurai about how good his life must have been as they turn to face each other. Gyutaro cuts through the samurai's katana, cutting the samurai's head before he could react. Gyutaro expresses his irritation that the samurai did what he did over "one measly eyeball."
Despite being fatally injured, Gyutaro still carried his sister Ume's dying body throughout the Hanamachi district in search of help, but was ultimately ignored no matter where he went. He eventually succumbed to exhaustion, and with both he and Ume being on the verge of death. Just before dying, they were then found by the then Upper Moon Six, Doma, who was searching the Entertainment District to devour young women in the area. He then offered to "help" them by turning them into Demons, and due to him being a "nice guy" he gave the two a few drops of his blood to initiate their transformations. He then gleefully challenged them to become powerful enough to be chosen by "that man" and join the Twelve Kizuki themselves.
At the end of his life, his sister walked with him into hell.

Tips[]
Ranged attacks are exceptionally powerful against Gyutaro due to the fact that he has nothing capable of fighting back from beyond mid range.
Gyutaro will occasionally combo Arc Rampage into Blood Sickles or Circular Slashes, so be weary of this.
To bait out his Arc Rampage move, you can walk into him while blocking. Arc Rampage will often be used after this if it's off cooldown, so make sure to also bait that out before attacking him.
Gyutaro can teleport to the nearest player within 450 studs. This has a very long cooldown, lasting several minutes.
Gyutaro can easily be killed solo by dashing past his Arc Rampage, then lunging into him right after the move ends and using a combo. Be weary of ending his stun cycle by leaving a gaps between your combo or by whiffing your combo, as he can use Arc Rampage due to its instant startup, punishing you. Repeating this multiple times will eventually allow you to kill Gyutaro all on your own with little-to-no deaths, depending on how good you are at PvE.
As a Demon, using the Temari Balls fighting style allows you to beat Gyutaro on your own while being able to take practically no damage, as the mini-stun which enemies receive can make Gyutaro stun-locked as long as you keep attacking at a safe distance. (creating too much distance between Gyutaro and you will make him teleport right in front of you)
NOTE: This is almost impossible if there is a Blue Demon or Green Demon so try to go away as much as you can and lure Gyutaro into a safe, clean area. Or you can aggro them into Gyutaro's skills, while you're using Skills.
If Gyutaro teleports in front you, you can attempt to dash away from him as soon as you see him. Even if he somehow manages to hit you with an M1, you should still be out of range of his Arc Rampage move, and if he attempts to use Circular Slashes or Blood Sickles you should be unstunned during both move's startup.

Trivia[]
- Gyutaro uses the Soryuu Fighting Style due to the fact that his Flesh Sickles are not currently available to use as weapons outside of certain Blood Sickle animations. He still holds his Blood Sickles in his hands despite him not using them for anything.
- Prior to Update 5.0, Gyutaro used to be able to become bugged and be unkillable, causing no other Gyutaros to spawn and not dropping XP or the Muzan Blood and his Piu.
