Breathing Style Skill Tree

The Breathing Style Skill Tree is another category in the Slayer Skill Tree. Every skill trees varies depending on the breathing style you chose to learn.

Sun/Hi (日)[]

Name	Points	Description
Dance of the Fire God	8(0 with Kamado)	The user does a series of 3 slashes: one forward slash followed with another slash that slightly nudges the user forward a bit, then finishes up with another forward slash.
Sun Counter	5	The user enters a stance. If the user is attacked in this stance, the user will create a flaming tornado which knocks opponents back.
Flash Dance	5	After a short delay, the user performs a powerful slash which launches opponents.
Burning Bones, Summer Sun	5	The user swings their blade in a circular motion around them, creating a ring of fire that lasts around 4 seconds. Anyone in this ring of fire will be stunned and take damage over time.
Clear Blue Sky	5	The user charges, and spins forward in a circular motion with their sword, creating a vertical wheel of fire.
Fake Rainbow	5	The user suddenly disappears into a rainbow-colored embers of flames.
Beneficent Radiance	5	The user dashes forward, creating a vicious stream of twisting, overlapping slashes towards their target.
Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance	5	The user spirals into the air and deliver a fiery slash from above.

Water/Mizu (水)[]

First Form: Water Surface Slash	0	It's the starting form of Water Breathing; the user performs a single, concentrated, horizontal slash at their target.
Second Form: Water Wheel	3	The user charges up & spins forward, unleashing a water wheel vertically in a circular motion.
Third Form: Flowing Dance	3	The user swings and bends their blade in a winding motion along with their body and dances in a flowing pattern, swarming the target with graceful slashes of water.
Fourth Form: Striking Tide	3	The user rotates horizontally and dashes forward while delivering a single slash against their target.
Sixth Form: Whirlpool	3	The user fiercely twists their upper and lower body as well as their blade, creating a vicious whirlpool of water that could hurt anything caught in it.
Eleventh Form: Dead Calm	0	(Tomioka Clan Exclusive) The user makes a giant circle on the ground where they stand, which slows down enemies, and after a short amount of time, a water sphere will emerge from the center of the circle.

Serpent/Hebi (蛇)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Winding Serpent	0	The user performs three forward slashes in quick succession then followed up by a rotating slash to the left right after.
Second Form: Venom Fangs	3	The user enters a stance that lasts to 3 seconds, if hit while in the stance, the user unleashes a rapid barrage of slashes from multiple directions as a counterattack.
Third Form: Coil Choke	3	The user delivers a slash that summons a giant snake constricting the target, inflicting damage as well as leaving them stunned.
Fourth Form: Twin-Headed Reptile	3	The user rushes forwards and delivers a singular horizontal slash.
Fifth Form: Slithering Serpent	3	The user dashes forward at blinding speeds to unleash a powerful strike.

Insect/Mushi (蟲)[]

First Form: Dance of the Butterfly	0	The starting form of Insect Breathing; the user leaps over the target and dives towards them, delivering a thrust against them.
Second Form: Dance of the Dragonfly	3	The user unleashes a barrage of stabs against their opponent.
Fourth Form: Dance of the Centipede	3	The user disappears and becomes invisible, leaving trails of butterflies in their path.
Sixth Form: Dance of the Spider	3	The user slightly backs up before rushing forward with a devastating thrust that seemingly creates a shockwave effect.

Moon/Tsuki (月)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Dark Moon	3	The user performs a golden, crescent-shaped horizontal slash against their target.
Third Form: Loathsome Moon	5	After a short delay, the user performs a short-ranged AoE moon attack imbued in red and blue.
Fifth Form: Moon Spirit Calamitous Eddy	5	The user casts a decimating barrage of slashes against the opponent.
Seventh Form: Mirror of Misfortune, Moonlit	5	The user pulls off a horizontal slash that creates five, multidirectional, long-ranged slashes that could hit multiple enemies from afar.
Eighth Form: Moon-Dragon Ringtail	5	The user performs a rising arc slash that releases a long-ranged, diagonal shockwave slash.
Fourteenth Form: Catastrophe	5	The user dashes backward and puts their sword near their sheath, before unleashing an amalgamation of several crescent-like slashes that travel at low speeds.
Sixteenth Form: Half Moon	5	The user will stay still and create several flesh swords out of their body which expels crescent-moon shaped blades who damage and fling anyone who comes close. (Uses Stamina)

Flame/Honō (炎)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Unknowing Fire	0	The starting skill of Flame Breathing; the user charges at their opponent and delivers a flaming slash that deals decent damage to the designated target.
Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun	3	After a short cast delay, the user unleashes a rising slash that sends the opponent flying.
Third Form: Flame Bend	3	The user performs a horizontal slash that releases a fiery shockwave slash towards the opponent.
Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation	3	The user enters a stance that lasts for 2 seconds, and when attacked while in the stance, the user casts a rotating fire slash as a counterattack.
Fifth Form: Flame Tiger	3	The user executes a fiery lunge that seemingly takes the form of a burning tiger.
Ninth Form: Rengoku	0	(Rengoku Clan Exclusive) The user viciously dashes against their target that carves a deep impression from where they cast the technique before hurling a devastating slash against them while enveloped by a flaming dragon.

Love/Koi (恋)[]

First Form: Shivers of First Love	1	The user performs four forward slashes in quick succession.
Second Form: Love Pangs	4	The user unleashes a rapid barrage of slashes.
Third Form: Catlove Shower	4	The user releases a three-way projectile of slashes.
Fifth Form: Healthy Life	4	The user heals their allies.
Sixth Form: Rainbow	4	The user dashes forward and unleash a series of slashes.

Thunder/Kaminari (雷)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Thunderclap and Flash	0	The starting skill of Thunder Breathing; after a short cast delay, the user dashes towards their opponent at blinding speeds, delivering a slash that seemingly never happened at all.
First Form: Six Roku	3	An extension of the first form. The user uses Thunderclap and Flash six times to reach and attack their foe from a 300 stud distance.
Second Form: Rice Spirit	3	After a short cast delay, the user dashes around the target, delivering some continuous damage to them.
Third Form: Thunder Swarm	3	Similar to Second Form, but it's much more powerful, deadly-looking and it has no cast delay.
Fifth Form: Heat Lightning	3	The user hurls a rising arc slash that releases a bolt of electricity towards their opponent.

Sound/Oto (音)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Roar	1	The user lifts their blades up and slams them onto the ground, causing a massive crater around the user followed up with an explosion.
Second Form: Bang	4	The user does a cross slash attack that generates a flash of light at their opponent, disorienting their vision for a short moment.
Fourth Form: Chain Explosion	4	The user clashes both of their blades together, creating a slow stream of explosion in front of them that may hit an opponent from afar.
Fifth Form: String Performance	4	The user slides forward and swings their right blade up, causing a trail of explosions behind them.
Sixth Form: Smoke	4	The user disappears and becomes invisible from the black puff of smoke.

Wind/Kaze (風)[]

Name	Points	Description
First Form: Dust Claw	0	The user lifts their katana up and swings them down aggressively, creating a mint-colored, claw-like slash going overhead and down in front of the user.
Second Form: Purifying Wind	3	The user leaps back while delivering a horizontal strike that creates a cyclone that carries anything away that gets caught in it.
Third Form: Lotus Tempest	3	After a short cast delay, the user dashes behind their enemy and does a sword swing in the process, creating a horizontal vortex of wind that could deal continuous damage to the target.
Fifth Form: Gale Slash	3	Similar to 2nd Form, the user leaps back and sends off a horizontal strike that creates horizontal cyclone within a huge shockwave projectile coming towards their designated target.
Sixth Form: Wind Typhoon	3	The user frontflips into the air, delivering a double, crescent-shaped slashes while in mid-air.

Beast/Kedamono (獣)[]

Name	Points	Description
Second Fang	0	After a short cast delay, the user performs a forward cross-slash with both blades against the opponent.
Third Fang	3	The user spins their body and swords horizontally towards their opponent straight ahead, creating a vertical-like spinning slash attack that lasts up to three seconds.
Fourth Fang	4	The user performs four, consecutive, forward slashes in a smooth manner. Each slashes could also be redirected towards the direction that the user wishes to go.
Fifth Fang	3	After a short cast delay, the user leaps forward and releases a powerful forward cross-slash with both blades.
Finishing Fang	3	After a short cast delay, the user unleashes a devastating back kick against the opponent.

Mist/Kasumi (霞)[]

Name	Points	Description
Second Form: Eight-Layered Mist	0	The starting skill of Mist Breathing; the user unleashes a barrage of cyan-colored strikes that creates alot of mist.
Third Form: Scattering Mist Splash	3	The user becomes enveloped in fog and becomes invisible to the naked eye, it also creates afterimages of the user as well.
Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash	3	The user dashes forward, unleashing a barrage of spaced out mist slashes that seems to form into a trail as the user traverses at high speeds.
Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze	3	The user is enveloped in mist and teleports behind the specified target that is out from the user's range.
Sixth Form: Judgement Cut	3	The user pulls back and puts their sword back in their sheath, unleashing an orb of slashes surrounding the target.
Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds	0	(Tokito Clan Exclusive) The user envelops and surrounds their environment with mist, allowing the user to slash multiple enemies who are inside the thick fog within a blink of an eye unknowingly.
