The Axe Demon is a large mini-boss demon located in the White Underground, a sublocation in the White Peak near the Flame Breathing trainer Kyojuro Rengoku. It has 300 hp.
Once killed, it will be auto-executed and will drop one Demon Collar. This can be given to Kyojuro to learn Flame Breathing, Mitsuri to learn Love Breathing, Obanai to learn Serpent Breathing, or can be used to make the Crystal Key. The Axe Demon gives 90 exp. You can also sell the collars to John for 200 yen each at the Slayer Corps. This boss cannot execute you unlike the Green Demon.

The Axe Demon will swing their axe from their left side, and follows up with a strike from their left. (You can avoid the attack of this boss by going behind the axe when it is about to swing, this results in the attack not hitting your hitbox and since it won't use it's leap attack if you are in close proximity, you can keep damaging it with M1s, might still need testing for more detailed instructions to avoid getting hit.)Damage - 16hp
The Axe Demon will stay still in a position for a brief moment, and then leap into the air and towards the direction they are facing and slams the ground with their axe as they land, this is a AoE attack. Note that this attack is similar to one of a types of special demons that leap, except they do more damage and go for a set amount of distance instead of landing directly at your location. Damage - 24hp

-You can M1 the boss easier by attacking him when the swing animation starts to cancel the swing.
- Stay at higher position to fight the boss to avoid getting executed by common demons. When doing this, avoid ledges, as falling off one may alert the common demons.
- When the boss jumps, just keep moving and dash away from the area you were at while he was in the air.
